This year started interesting as I upgraded my hardware to be 64 bit compatible and now have the chance to render images in larger resolution and less time. And time was always a big issue for my renderings. I have no idea what the year will bring but it starts out quite well.
Series
Sneaking
Trying out if anything is different in Poser Pro than in Poser 7. I still miss some GI solution and thus can't get quite the grip on lighting in Poser. Vue seems to be much more "predictable" concerning how things look. Anyway, here it is...

Fear the Cute
I did this one over the course of several weeks so chronologically taken it is quite old. I was playing around with displacement and render settings in this one and know now something for sure: Don't get too fancy with your values for refraction and reflection rays or you will pay with render times...

Fly of the Fae
Originally this image started from testing Vue in conjunction with Poser on the 64-bit platform. And since I hadn't done any CGI for a while I tried to rewarm my fingers. Some things didn't turn out like I had them in mind for the image but oh well, there will be a next image to do it better...
